Cork County Council’s Beacon Initiative, in partnership with Lee Valley Enterprise Board, would like to invite local Retailers to attend a public meeting on Wednesday 27th August in the Macroom E Enterprise Centre at 7pm.
This meeting is open to all customer facing business in the area and will be presented by Padraig O’ Sullivan, Beacon Initiative Programme Manager. Retailers will be given the opportunity to hear first hand how the programme may be of benefit to their business and how it can be tailored to meet their specific business challenges.

To date the programme has successfully being rolled out to several towns in Cork County including; Ballincollig, Castletownbere, Charleville, Cobh, Dunmanway, Millstreet, Mitchelsown and Youghal and the business categories range from activity centres and butchers to convenience stores, driving schools, pharmacy’s, public houses, restaurants and many more.
The Beacon Retail programme is limited to 15 businesses and is heavily subsidised by Cork County Council’s Economic Development Fund and LEO South Cork and runs over a 5 month period.
